Designed to carry your folded cash, a few cards, some loose change, and a fishing license, the snap case is a secure, tough-as-nails daily carry companion.
Leather is cut from the hide, after which I trace and hand cut the arcs along the front and inside using a blade. I then bevel the edges, punch the stitch holes and hardware slots, and set the washer-backed snap. Hand stitching the sides comes next, which is done with beeswax-coated thread to help lock each stitch in place. Pocket corners are backstitched for extra reinforcement — the same logic behind the leather washer under the snap. The edges are then sanded smooth, coated with beeswax, and burnished. Each case comes in a natural tea-dyed cotton bag and includes a handwritten information card.
